Rolls-Royce Marine Trent

The Rolls-Royce MT marine turbine is a gas turbine based on the Rolls-Royce Trent 800 aircraft engine . The current model is the Rolls-Royce MT30.

The MT30 corresponds to 80% of the Trent 800 engine used in the Boeing 777 . The maximum output is 36 MW , the minimum 25 MW. Rolls-Royce announced the MT30 program on September 11, 2001; the first test run took place on September 6, 2002.
