Romain Zaleski

Romain Zaleski (born February 7, 1933 in Paris ) is a French entrepreneur of Polish origin.

Life

Zaleski attended the traditional high school Lycée Janson de Sailly in Paris and studied at the École polytechnique . In 1958 he graduated from the École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris (now Mines ParisTech ). After completing his studies, he worked as a consultant for the French Minister of Industry. He switched to the private sector and restructured the Italian steel company Carlo Tassara . Since 1995 he has invested in stakes in European steel companies. According to the US Forbes Magazine , Zaleski is one of the richest French. Among other things, he holds a stake in the raw materials company Eramet . Zaleski is married and has three children.
