Arne Beeker
Arne Beeker , pseudonym Roman Hinze (* around 1965) is a German dramaturge , author and translator.
Life
Arne Beeker obtained a doctorate in physics and mathematics from the University of Münster and worked as a teacher at a high school in Cologne . Since 2012 he has been a musical dramaturge at the Landestheater Linz and works a. a. together with director Matthias Davids , the musical division manager at the Musiktheater Linz .
Under the name Roman Hinze he translates numerous musicals for various publishers. He translated into German the plays Die Hexen von Eastwick , The Wiz , Show Boat and Dracula by Frank Wildhorn , and he also translated musicals by George Gershwin and Stephen Sondheim . He also works as an arranger of musical theater works and author of musicals. He is a member of the German Musical Academy.
