Romas Cirba (born March 4, 1969 in the Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet and Lithuanian football player .

At the beginning of his career in the 1989 season, Cirba first played in his home country with Inkaras Kaunas . In 1990 he moved to Žalgiris Vilnius . He was active for this club until the end of 1991 and won the Baltic League with him in 1990 . This was followed by his first foreign engagement with the German top division club Göttingen 05 . He remained loyal to this club until his most successful career stage with the Sportfreunde Siegen . This last phase of his career, which made him a leading figure in the team of the Regionalliga team from victories and the fans' favorite, lasted a total of seven seasons (seasons 1996/97 to 2002/03). In the meantime he was partly active in the 2000/01 season for the amateurs of MSV Duisburg in the Oberliga Nordrhein. Another season at Preußen Münster followed after his time in victory . Then he finally returned to his homeland and ended his career there.

National team

Cirba was also able to make an international appearance at the beginning of his career, because on May 27, 1990 he completed his first and only international match for his home country Lithuania .
