Romeo Lemboumba
Romeo Braexir Lemboumba (born May 19, 1980 in Libreville ) is a boxer from Gabon and 2012 Olympic bantamweight participant .
Boxing career
He won bronze medals at the African Championships in 2007 and 2011, as well as the African Nations Cup in 2010 and 2012. In 2009 he took part in the World Championships in Milan , but lost in the second preliminary round against Tulaschboi Donijorow from Uzbekistan (4:11). In the African Olympic qualification in 2012 in Casablanca , he defeated Bruno Julie , Mauritius and Bilel M'Hamdi, Tunisia, before he was only eliminated in the semi-finals against Aboubakr Lbida , Morocco with a score of 14:15 and was thus able to qualify.
At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , however, he lost the first fight against William Encarnación from the Dominican Republic (6:15).
