Ron Clark (teacher)

Ron L. Clark, Jr. (born October 24, 1971 ) is an American teacher.

Clark has been teaching at schools with children from difficult backgrounds in North Carolina and Harlem , New York City , since 1995 . Based on his work, the film The Ron Clark Story was made in 2006 .

So far he has published three works on the subject of education; including The Essential 55, translated into 25 languages . Clark, named Teacher of the Year by Disney in 2000, founded the Ron Clark Academy seven years later.
