Ronald Brautigam (born October 1, 1954 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch pianist .

Life

Ronald Brautigam studied in Amsterdam, London and in the USA with Rudolf Serkin . In 1984 he received the “Nederlandse Muziekprijs”, the highest musical award in the country. Since then, the groom has played with international orchestras.

In addition to his performances with modern instruments, Brautigam is one of the exponents of the fortepiano . In 2004 the first episode of a 17-part Beethoven cycle that was played on the fortepiano was published.

Ronald Brautigam lives in Amsterdam with his wife Mary.
