Ronald Mkwanazi
Ronald "Ronnie" Mkwanazi (* 1959 in Johannesburg ) is a South African actor .
In 1980 Mkwanazi was a founding member of the Soyikwa African Theater , a theater collective with a socio-political background. He was discovered for German television on a European tour. In 1985 he played in the film Afrika am Rhein , produced for WDR , directed by Pape B. Seck . In 1988 he played the leading role in the ZDF television film Kalte Sonne , directed by Lars Becker .
In Lindenstrasse he played the role of David Motibe for almost a year from 1991 to 1992 (episodes 281 to 325) . He had suggested to the director Hans W. Geißendörfer that a colored actor be introduced in Lindenstrasse and was cast for the role himself.
