The Ronkepet is a sword from Java .

description

The Rongkepet has a curved, single-edged, heavy blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location . The back of the blade and the cutting edge are s-shaped. The place is pointy. The blade is usually made of pamor steel (similar to Damascus steel ). The handle has a small, slightly conical guard . It is made of wood or horn and is slightly bent at the pommel area towards the cutting edge. The pommel is thickened and flattened at the end. The Ronkepet is used by ethnic groups from Sumatra.
