The Roosevelt Room is a general purpose conference room in the West Wing of the White House , it was created in 1934. President Richard Nixon christened the room in 1969 in honor of both Roosevelts. Theodore was responsible for building the West Wing and Franklin for its extension. Portraits of the two presidents hang in the Roosevelt Room.
