Rosemarie Zacher
Rosemarie Zacher (* 1966 in Munich ) is a German artist, illustrator and art educator.
Life
Rosemarie Zacher studied art education , art history and business administration in Munich. She taught for eleven years in the Department of Art Didactics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and illustrated books, publications and posters, etc. a. for the Bayerische Staatszeitung . With her artistic work and museum educational concepts she is u. a. works for the House of Bavarian History and the Bavarian Association of Cities and conducts courses and workshops for business executives and the Bavarian Palace Administration . In Gauting she has been running the “School of Fantasy”, an art school for children and adults, for over 25 years.
Rosemarie Zacher was awarded the City of Starnberg Art Prize (1989), the Günther Klinge Prize (1997) and the Pasinger Art Prize (2012). Together with Susanna Partsch , she was nominated in 2009 for the prize for the best science book of the year (Austria) and the German Youth Literature Prize . Her artistic work has been shown in numerous solo exhibitions.
