Susanna Partsch (* 1952 in Bad Godesberg ) is a German art historian and non-fiction author .

Life

Partsch studied art history, ethnology and education in Heidelberg in the 1970s , after which she worked at the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein . She has been working as a freelance writer since 1985. Her extensive work includes numerous art books, monographs, youth and school books, catalogs and travel guides, as well as children's books in a team of authors with Rosemarie Zacher . In 1998 she was awarded the German Youth Literature Prize for her book "Haus der Kunst" . Her artist monographs on Paul Klee , Gustav Klimt , Franz Marc and Rembrandt achieved large editions and were translated into many languages. Susanna Partsch has two children and lives in Munich .
