Rosenheim Literature Prize
The Rosenheim Literature Prize is awarded to authors who have a clear connection to the city of Rosenheim or the region. The prize is endowed with € 4000.
It is awarded at irregular intervals as part of the series of events organized by the Rosenheim City Library "Upper Bavarian Literature" by the Mayor of Rosenheim's Cultural and Social Foundation.
Authors are honored for a book or for their complete works. Both well-known authors and young literary talents can be funded.
The jury consists of the head of the city's cultural department, two librarians from the city library, a critic from the local newspaper and a former awardee. The decision is made by the foundation advisory board.
