Ross Jordaan (born March 29, 1985 ) is a retired South African shot putter .

Athletic career

Ross Jordaan gained his first international experience in 2004 at the Junior World Championships in Grosseto , where he failed to make a valid attempt. In 2008 he took part in the African Championships in Addis Ababa , where he finished eighth with a width of 14.98 m. The following year he took part in the Summer Universiade in Belgrade , but retired there with 17.50 m in the qualification. In 2011 he reached fourth place at the Africa Games in Maputo with 18.08 m. In 2017 he played his last competition in Calgary .
