The Ross Peaks are a series of up to 450 m high heights on Laurie Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . They rise up in a northwest-southeast orientation between the Ferguslie Peninsula and Fitchie Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1988 after Alistair Ross (1881 - unknown), taxidermist on the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902-1904) under the direction of William Speirs Bruce .
