The Fitchie Bay is a bay on the southeast coast of Laurie Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It lies between Cape Dundas and Cape Whitson .

It was mapped during the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902-1904) under the direction of the Scottish polar explorer William Speirs Bruce . Bruce named the bay after John Fitchie (* 1848), first mate on the Scotia ship on this expedition.
