Rust disease

The rust disease is a by parasitic rust fungi caused disease of plants, which brings the leaves and stems to death of the infected plants. It is particularly found in cereals , pulses , beets , pears , roses and pines .

They are characterized by rust-colored bearings of the aecidiospores or uredospores . These form on the stems or on the leaves and can be ring, point or line-shaped.

Rust diseases are classified according to

  • the morphological characteristics,
  • the host plants and
  • the symptoms.
