Roswitha Berndt

Roswitha Berndt (* 1936 in Spottau ) is a German historian .

Roswitha Berndt comes from Lower Silesia and lived in Thuringia from 1945 . After her habilitation in 1975, she received a professorship at the History / Citizenship Section of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . She was best known for her publications on social and regional history issues from the time of the Weimar Republic .
