The Red Church ( Červený kostel in Czech ) is the former Protestant church in Olomouc in the Czech Republic . It was designed by Franz Böhm and the German architect Max Löw in 1898 and built from May 1901 to 1902. From 1919 it was used by the German Evangelical Church , after the Second World War it fell to the state, the Bohemian Brothers used it until 1960. Today it houses the archive of the Scientific Library .
