Chris Malinchak (* 1987 in New York City ) is an American DJ and music producer. His style combines elements of nu disco, funk and house .

Career

Since 2011 he has been under contract with the record labels Kontor Records and French Express. He lives in New York .

His track So Good to Me was named Essential New Tune by British radio presenter Pete Tong at the end of 2012 on his show on BBC 1 . As a result, it received over two million views on the YouTube video platform . After the single was released on the Ministry of Sound label , it reached number 2 in the UK Top 40 in May 2013 , as well as several other chart positions in Europe. The song So Good to Me uses samples of the song If This World Were Mine by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell . In 2013 Malinchak performed at the Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit.
