Maxwell George Schneider (born June 21, 1992 in Manhattan , New York ) is an American actor , dancer , model and singer .

Life

Max Schneider was born in Manhattan , New York State in June 1992 and grew up in Woodstock . He was raised Jewish . He plays the piano and the ukulele . In January 2010, he was selected from 6000 applicants to attend the YoungArts program in Miami . In the same year he graduated from Professional Performing Arts (PPAS) High School in New York City with Honors. He then received a scholarship in musical theater at New York University . He took off to work on his acting career.

In May 2010, he posed with Madonna for a Dolce & Gabbana campaign, which was photographed by Steven Klein and appeared in the fall of 2010.

Schneider married Emily Cannon in April 2016.

Acting career

In 2008 he played the roles of Brett , Malcolm , Richie and Simon in the musical 13 alongside Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies . During high school he starred as Justin McTeague in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . In 2010 he was seen as a dancer in two episodes of the soap opera Love, Lie, Passion . In 2011 he got the role of Lance in the movie The Last Keepers . Also in 2011 he took part in the Worldwide Day of Play . His breakthrough came on the side of Cymphonique Miller and Halston Sage in the Nickelodeon - Youth series How to Rock , in which he the male lead of Zander Robbins played. However, the series was discontinued after a season.

In May 2012 he starred alongside Keke Palmer , Drake Bell , Avan Jogia , Burkely Duffield and Nick Cannon in the Nickelodeon television film Rags as Charlie Prince . That same year he made a guest appearance as Jake Riley in The CW - TV series Beauty and the Beast .

In mid-March 2013 Schneider got a leading role as Ian Martinez in the NBC television series Crisis , which was invented by Rand Ravich and aired on the station from March to June 2014. At the end of 2014 he starred as Van Dyke Parks in the Beach Boys film Love & Mercy .

Music career

He has been writing and singing songs since 2006 . In 2010 his EP First Encounter was released , which is available in the iTunes Store . In 2012 he worked with Kurt Hugo Schneider on YouTube and the two recorded cover songs by Bruno Mars , The Script and Gavin Degraw. Together with Megan and Liz Mace, he recorded the song Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen as a cover version in 2012 . He also recorded a medley of Bruno Mars hits, Maroon 5 hits, and Justin Timberlake hits with Victoria Justice . A cover version of Say Something of the two was also released.

From August 2 to September 14, 2012, he toured the United States with Victoria Justice . He also released the songs Quicksand and Everyday in August 2012 . He also writes songs for several other artists. For example, he wrote the song Show You How To Do for the Disney Channel television series Shake It Up - Tanzen ist alles . He also wrote the song Standing in China with Kurt Schneider and Matt Gerrard , which he sold to Cody Simpson for his album Paradise . The song Last 1 Standing , sung by Cymphonique Miller in How to Rock , was also written by Schneider with Matt Wong and Claire Demorest.

On May 21, 2013 Schneider released his first single Nothing Without Love and the accompanying music video. In June he released the cover song The Other Side by Jason Derulo with Keke Palmer , who also sang on the cover. On February 24, 2014, he released his second single Mug Shot and the accompanying music video. In April 2014 he announced the The Say Max EP for May and released the song Streets Of Gold on the same day .

In February 2015 Schneider announced that he is now under contract with the record label DCD2 Records and at the same time released the single Puppeteer , which is already available on the The Say Max EP . The release of his new song Gibberish featuring Hoodie Allen is planned for the end of March 2015 .

In June 2015 he toured with Fall Out Boy , Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen on the Boys of Zummer tour. In May 2018 a collaboration with Noah Cyrus called "Team" appeared. In 2017 and 2018 he toured with Fall Out Boy on their "Mania" world tour.

In 2018 his tour "House of Divine" started.
