life and career
Halston Sage was born and raised in Los Angeles . Her career began with a guest appearance in Victorious in 2011 and in Bucket & Skinner in 2012 . Then she got a role in the romantic comedy The First Time - You will never forget your first time! alongside Britt Robertson and Dylan O'Brien . Sage made her breakthrough in 2012 with the role of Grace King in the Nickelodeon series How to Rock . In May 2013 she starred alongside Emma Watson in The Bling Ring and took over in the same yearGrownups 2 played a supporting role. In March 2013, she received the supporting role of Amber Fitch in the 2014 television series Crisis . She also starred in the film Paper Towns by Jake Schreier .
From 2017 to 2019 she played the lead role of the Xelayan Alara Kitan , the security officer of the eponymous spaceship Orville, in the science fiction series The Orville.
