Brittany "Britt" Leanna Robertson (born April 18, 1990 in Charlotte , North Carolina ) is an American actress .

life and career

Brittany Robertson has six siblings and grew up in Greenville , South Carolina . She had one of her first roles in the TV series Sheena - Queen of the Jungle as little Sheena . This was followed by appearances in the films Dan - Mitten im Leben! as Cara Burns , in Swingtown as Samantha and in The Tenth Circle as Trixie Stone . She also had guest appearances on the series CSI: Vegas , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent - crime in sight .

In 2009, Robertson starred opposite Naomi Watts , Samuel L. Jackson and David Morse in the drama Mothers and Daughters . In 2010 she starred in the film The Daughter of Avalon . From 2010 to 2011 she played the main character Lux in the CW series Life Unexpected - Suddenly Family . In the same year she got the lead role of Cassie Blake in the series The Secret Circle , also broadcast by The CW , which was discontinued after a season. From 2013 to 2014 she starred in the CBS series Under the Dome . Her last appearance was in the second season premiere. In the 2015 science fiction film A World Beyond , she played the role of Casey Newton opposite George Clooney . She also starred in the same year with Scott Eastwood in the film No Place Without You (original title: The Longest Ride ). 2017 she was in the role of Sophia Amoruso in the Netflix series Girl Boss and in the film the stars so close (The Space Between Us) to see. The Girlboss series was canceled by Netflix after one season. Since 2018 she can be seen in the ABC series For The People .

From 2012 to 2018 she was in a relationship with actor Dylan O'Brien .
