Member of Parliament since 1976

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg, each voter has only one vote, which is used to determine both the direct candidate and the total number of seats of a party in the state parliament . There are no state or district lists; instead, in order to establish the equalization of proportions, inferior constituency applicants are assigned second mandates . The regulation, which was valid until the 2006 election, provided for these mandates to be allocated according to the absolute number of votes at the level of the administrative districts.

The following MPs represented the constituency of Aalen in the state parliament:

Political party Type of mandate Elected
CDU First mandate Eugen Volz 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988
Gustav Wabro 1992, 1996
Winfried Mack 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016
SPD Second mandate Alfred Geisel 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992
