The constituency of Göppingen (constituency 10) is a state electoral district in Baden-Württemberg . In the last state election in 2016, it comprised the communities of Adelberg , Albershausen , Birenbach , Börtlingen , Ebersbach an der Fils , Eislingen / Fils , Göppingen , Ottenbach , Rechberghausen , Schlat , Schlierbach , Uhingen , Wäschenbeuren and Wangen from the district of Göppingen and the community of Reichenbach the Fils from the Esslingen district .
The boundaries of the state electoral districts were fundamentally redesigned after the district reform of 1973 for the state elections in 1976 and have only been changed selectively since then. The uneven population development in the districts of Göppingen and Esslingen led to a first change in the layout of the district of Göppingen for the 2006 state elections. The communities Eschenbach and Heiningen were assigned to the constituency of Geislingen , but the community of Reichenbach an der Fils from the constituency of Kirchheim was added. Since the state elections in 2011, the municipalities of Albershausen , Ottenbach and Schlat have also been part of the Geislingen constituency .
