The constituency of Waldshut (constituency 59) is a state electoral district in the south of Baden-Württemberg . In the last state elections in 2016, it comprised the communities of Albbruck , Bad Säckingen , Dettighofen , Dogern , Eggingen , Görwihl , Herrischried , Hohentengen am Hochrhein , Jestetten , Klettgau , Küssaberg , Lauchringen , Laufenburg , Lottstetten , Murg , Rickenbach , Stühlingen , Waldshut-Tiengen , Wehr , Weilheim , and Wutöschingen from the Waldshut district as well as the two communities Rheinfelden and Schwörstadt from the Lörrach district .

The boundaries of the state electoral districts were fundamentally redesigned after the district reform of 1973 for the state elections in 1976 and have only been changed selectively since then. The constituency of Waldshut initially included all communities in the district of Waldshut as well as the communities of Rheinfelden and Schwörstadt . As a result of the above-average population growth, it was necessary to reduce the size of the constituency for the first time in the 1992 state elections. That is why the churches were Bernau , Dachsberg , homes , Höchenschwand , Ibach , St. Blaise and Todtmoos neighboring constituency Freiburg I assigned. Before the state elections in 2011, the communities of Bonndorf in the Black Forest , Grafenhausen , Ühlingen-Birkendorf and Wutach were also incorporated into the Freiburg I constituency.
