The Waiblingen constituency (constituency 15) is a state electoral district in Baden-Württemberg , in the administrative district of Stuttgart. It includes the communities Fellbach , Korb , Leutenbach , Schwaikheim , Waiblingen and Winnenden from the Rems-Murr district .
The boundaries of the state electoral districts were fundamentally redesigned after the district reform of 1973 for the state elections in 1976 and have only been changed selectively since then. Since then, there have been no changes affecting the Waiblingen constituency.

Halder won the first mandate. Lorek and Goll moved into the state parliament via second mandates, as they had achieved above-average results for their party and the constituencies in the Stuttgart administrative region . Altpeter's share of the vote was also above the national share of her party, but was not enough to reassign one of the second mandates attributable to the SPD.

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg, each voter has only one vote, which is used to determine both the direct candidate and the total number of seats of a party in the state parliament . There are no state or district lists; instead, in order to establish the equalization of proportions, inferior constituency applicants are assigned second mandates .
