Alfred Duckman

Alfred Entenmann (* 28. October 1927 in Leutenbach (Württemberg) ) is a German politician of the CDU .

Life and politics

Entenmann had been a member of the NSDAP since 1944 - then 16 years old - until the end of the war . After the war he studied law and joined the CDU . From 1954 on he was mayor of the then independent municipality of Hegnach . His term of office ended in 1974 with the voluntary incorporation of the place into the city of Waiblingen , which was actively operated by Entenmann himself.

Entenmann was a member of the district council from 1959 to 1984, initially in what was then the Waiblingen district , after the district reform in the Rems-Murr district . Between 1964 and 1984 ducks man belonged to the state parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg , where he on the direct mandate of the constituency Waiblingen (to 1976 constituency Waiblingen I took).

From 1978 to 1990 Entenmann was President of the Swabian Gymnastics Association .

Awards

The municipality of Hegnach granted Entenmann honorary citizenship in 1974 . Entenmann was awarded the Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1976 and the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1980 and the Medal of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg in 1987 .
