Dieter Remppel

Dieter Remppel (born September 16, 1940 in Adelberg ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Remppel obtained the degree of graduate engineer at the technical college. From 1968 to 1979 he was managing director in the electrical industry. In 1980 he opened his own engineering office, in the same year he became managing director in textile machine construction. He held the latter position until 1986. Remppel was chairman of the CDU community association in Adelberg and district chairman of MIT North Württemberg. In August 1984 he replaced the late Josef Wilhelm Hauser in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . In 1988 and 1992 he was re-elected in the constituency of Göppingen , so that Remppel was a member of the state parliament until 1996.

Remppel is the uncle of the ethnologist Dieter Haller .
