I Still Believe is a film drama by the brothers Andrew and Jon Erwin , which was released in US theaters on March 13, 2020 and in German theaters on August 13, 2020. The biopic is about the eventful life of the American songwriter Jeremy Camp and the cancer and later death of his wife Melissa.

Biographical
The musical talent of the American songwriter Jeremy Camp was discovered at a Bible school in Southern California, where he began to lead the worship work at his college. After recording his indie album Burden Me in 2000, his girlfriend Melissa was diagnosed with cancer. At the hospital, Jeremy asked for her hand. They married five months after completing chemotherapy. During her honeymoon, Melissa developed a stomach ache and learned that she only had a few months to live and passed away on February 5, 2001.
The musician processed his pain especially with the songs Walk by Faith and I Still Believe on his debut album Stay, which was released in 2002. The album became famous in the USA not least because many people were moved and encouraged by the story of the musician.

The film music was composed by John Debney, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2005 for his work on The Passion of the Christ . The soundtrack album, which comprises a total of 17 pieces of music, was released for download on March 6, 2020 by Capitol Records.
The film was released in US cinemas on March 13, 2020 and in German cinemas on August 13, 2020. It premiered on March 7, 2020 at the ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, Calif.
