Lil Uzi Vert (born July 31, 1994 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ; real name: Symere Woods ) is an American rapper .

biography

Lil Uzi Vert became known to a wider audience in 2016 with his singles Money Longer, You Was Right and Ps & Qs . In 2017 he made a guest appearance at Migos with the single Bad and Boujee .

After the song Money Longer , the breakup between Lil Uzi Vert and his girlfriend Brittany Byrd was announced. He deals with this separation in the song XO TOUR Llif3 . With this he was represented in the charts internationally for the first time.

In 2016 Lil Uzi Vert released the single Pull Up with Wiz Khalifa , which took off in the United States. His debut album Luv Is Rage 2 , which was released on August 25, 2017, reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 . In 2019 his singles Sanguine Paradise , That's A Rack and '' Futsal Shuffle 2020 '' were released.

On March 1st, 2020 Lil Uzi Vert released the single That Way and after the announcement 3 years earlier, Lil Uzi Vert released the album Eternal Atake on March 6th, 2020 . On March 13th he released the album Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2 as a deluxe edition of Eternal Atake .
