Victoria Dawn Justice (born February 19, 1993 in Hollywood , Florida ) is an American actress , songwriter , singer and model . She gained international fame through her leading roles as Lola Martinez in Zoey 101 and as Tori Vega in Victorious .

Life

Victoria Justice was born in Hollywood, Florida . Her mother is Puerto Rican and her father is of Irish , German , English and French descent. She currently lives in Hollywood, California . She attended Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, California. She has a sister named Madison Reed, three years her junior.

From 2011 to 2013 Justice was in a relationship with actor Ryan Rottman , whom she met while filming Victorious . She met Pierson Fode while filming Naomi & Ely - Love, Friendship and everything in between in November 2013 . The two were in a relationship from November 2013 to mid-2015.

Career

In 2003 Justice made her television debut with a guest appearance on Gilmore Girls . In 2005 further guest roles followed in Mary , When Do We Eat? , Silver Bells and Hotel Zack & Cody . In the same year she got a leading role in the television series Zoey 101 , where she played the role of Lola Martinez at the side of Jamie Lynn Spears until the series was discontinued in 2008 . This role made her internationally known.

After the end of Zoey 101 , Justice starred in the film The Kings of Appletown at the side of Dylan and Cole Sprouse in late 2009 . In 2009 she got the role of scheming Tammi Dyson in the Nickelodeon Original Movie Spectacular! . She recorded three songs for this film. She also starred in a music video for the Menudo group . In 2009 she was in the iCarly film iCarly: Four Fists for iCarly in the role of Shelby Marx . This was followed by guest appearances on True Jackson and Troop - Die Monsterjäger .

Justice made her international breakthrough in 2010 with the lead role of Tori Vega in the Dan Schneider series Victorious . She was also in the Nickelodeon Original Movie Reluctant Werewolf as Jordan Sands . In 2011 she appeared again on iCarly , this time in the crossover iCarly: Party with Victorious . In 2011 she got a role in the teenage romance The First Time - You Will Never Forget Your First Time! . In October 2012, the film Fun Size - Trick or Treat with Justice in the lead role was released.

In October 2012, she announced the release of her debut album for the following year. Her first single Gold was released on June 18, 2013 in the USA and on July 12, 2013 in Germany. In the summer of 2013 she went on a US tour with the band Big Time Rush and then made a guest appearance in the fourth season of the television series of the same name .

In mid-September, Justice was cast to star Lindy Sampson on the MTV television series Eye Candy , which aired from January to March 2015. In November 2013, it was in the title role of Naomi for the indie - comedy Naomi & Ely - Love, friendship and everything in between , which aired in 2015, in front of the camera.

In January 2016 Justice got the main role of Janet Weiss in the Fox - Musical - TV movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again . The film premiered on October 20, 2016. That same year, she co -hosted the Teen Choice Awards with John Cena .

The film Cool Girls , in which Justice played the leading role, was released on April 14, 2017 . The film was released in Germany on April 18, 2018. Since then, she has had guest roles in several TV shows such as American Housewife and Queen America . She was also the TV host for the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards , which aired on Nickelodeon on May 2nd . In Germany, the award ceremony was broadcast on May 17th on Nickelodeon.
