Tori Vega

Tori Vega is the main character in the series. She is 16 years old at the beginning of the series and attends the Hollywood Arts Acting School. Before that, she went to Sherwood High School. Tori is of Latin American descent and can speak Spanish fluently. She is creative, kind, caring, forgiving, responsible, and kind, but she can also be sneaky and vengeful. She cares very much about her friends and family and helps them with all kinds of problems.

When she helps her sister, Trina, who goes to school at Hollywood Arts before Tori, for her appearance at the Big Show Case, she meets Trina's partner André Harris. Tori makes friends with André very quickly and is his best friend. On the evening of the Big Showcase, Tori unexpectedly steps in for her at the appearance of her sick sister. The director of Hollywood Arts likes this performance so much that he offers Tori to attend the Hollywood Arts, which she accepts.

On her first day at the new school, Tori befriends Cat Valentine, Beck Oliver and Robbie Shapiro. Due to a misunderstanding, Jade doesn't want to be friends with Tori and makes her life at Hollywood Arts difficult. Tori basically has nothing against a friendship with Jade and does her best to get along with Jade.

André Harris

André Harris is Tori's best friend and a talented musician and songwriter. He can play a wide variety of instruments, including guitar, keyboard, piano, piccolo, and horn, but he prefers the keyboard and piano. André plays in the background on almost all the songs that Tori sings. He loves to be on stage and takes his talent very seriously. In the episode Diddly-Bops André sang a song for the first time in the series. In the episode Jade Gets Crushed , he develops feelings for Jade when the two wrote a song together. Tori eventually helps him get over her.

André has been friends with Tori since the series began. He's one of the main reasons Tori goes to Hollywood Arts today. After Jade poured coffee over Tori and she wanted to leave school, André talked to her and managed to get Tori to stay. André is very close friends with Robbie, Cat, Beck and Jade. He is a good listener and often helps Tori and her friends with problems. He has a cousin named Kendra and a crazy grandmother named Charlotte.

Robbie Shapiro

Robbie Shapiro is one of Tori's Hollywood Arts friends. He's a great ventriloquist and often uses his talents to express his true feelings. He has a hand puppet named Rex, which he almost always has with him and which often offends him. Robbie treats Rex like a normal human and hates when people call him a doll.

Robbie is a shy and clumsy student. He is very insecure and is afraid of people who have more power than him. Robbie is often bullied by Jade and is almost always part of their jokes. He's just bad at relationships with girls. He often uses his PearPad for his research , which is not very popular in his environment. Robbie seems to have feelings for Cat. In the episode Prom Wercker , he asked Cat out on a date for the school ball. He also owns several cardboard figures of her. It is mentioned that he is Jewish .

Jade makes fun of Tori and Robbie a lot. One of the show's running gags is that Jade often imitates Tori with the voice of a southern beauty. Tori usually replies with “I don't talk like that!”. Jade has been enemies with Tori since the first episode because, due to a misunderstanding, she thought Tori was flirting with her boyfriend. In rare cases, however, she also asks Tori for help. Cat often tells her friends crazy things that happened to her somewhat strange brother. She has red hair, which is why André sometimes calls her "Little Redhead" (English: Lil 'Red / Little Red). It is mentioned that Cat may have bipolar disorder due to mood swings. Cat is a very good singer and actress. Her original name is Caterina, but except for her grandmother they all call her Cat.

Jade doesn't find this funny at all, but she notes that there is no need to be jealous as Beck loves her more than anything.

Although Beck seems a little annoyed at times, mostly in connection with Robbie or Trina, he usually remains calm and relaxed. He and André have been very good friends for a long time. In the first episode, he kissed Tori after she asked him to do an alphabetical improvisation. Beck lives in a trailer that is in the driveway in front of his parents' house because he can live there according to his own rules. Trina believes that acting and singing are her destiny, although she really does not master either of them. Sikowitz accepted Trina into Hollywood Arts for hallucinating from bad coconut milk. Trina is very superficial and selfish. In some episodes, Trina also shows herself to be caring by taking care of her sister and helping Tori with her problems.
