The Red House in Kempten

The Red House is a listed building with the address St.-Mang-Platz 3 with a core that partly dates from the late Middle Ages . These are two adjacent houses opposite the Protestant St. Mang Church , which were given a uniformly designed facade around 1720/30 with two dwelling houses and two oriels .

The Red House has a volute gable with a central portal showing the coat of arms of the Jenisch patrician family . The Ponikauhaus also belonged to the family .
