It is located in the Alte Neustadt district of Magdeburg at the southern end of Rothensseer Straße, on the west side of it. To the south of the house is the also listed building, Rothenseer Straße 2 , to the north is the house Rothenseer Straße 3 .
Architecture and history
The representative three-storey house was built around 1880/1890 with elements of the neo-Renaissance style. The seven-axis facade of the brick building is structured with plaster elements and has fine stucco decor . The windows of the main floor are provided with Fensterverdachungen. The roofs of the three central axes are semicircular, the others pointed gables.
As part of a row of houses from the Wilhelminian era, the building is characteristic of the street.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81875 .
