The Rotmistrivka crater crater is an impact crater in the Ukraine in Cherkasy Oblast . It is located near the village of Rotmistrivka ( Ukrainian Ротмістрівка ) in Smila Raion .
The diameter of the crater is 2.7 km, its age is estimated to be 120 ± 10 million years, so its formation falls in the lower Cretaceous period . The crater is not visible on the surface, it is covered by sediments.
