Rowe Racing is the motorsport team of the mineral oil manufacturer Rowe Mineralölwerk GmbH . Rowe Racing has been competing in the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring since 2011 . In 2014 Rowe Racing drove in the ADAC GT Masters . Rowe has been competing in the Blancpain GT Series since the 2015 season. After 5 years as a Mercedes-Benz customer team, Rowe has been a works-supported BMW team since 2016 and is racing the BMW M6 GT3 .

The team was founded in 2011 by Michael Zehe and Hans-Peter Naundorf. The racing team is operated by the Motorsport Competence Group AG (MCG AG) . The Motorsport Competence Group AG sees itself as a service provider and industrial development partner for the automotive and racing sectors.

From 2011 to 2015, MCG AG successfully used up to four Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 racing vehicles in a large number of their projects . Since the beginning of the 2016 season, MCG AG has been fielding two newly developed BMW M6 GT3s in various racing series. The winning car of the Spa 24 Hours 2016 was withdrawn from racing after the success, preserved in the condition it had crossed the finish line and has served as an exhibit ever since. In the 2019 season, Rowe will field two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs in the Endurance Cup of the Blancpain GT series. At the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the line-up will be reinforced by a further 911 GT3 R.
