Ruben Soria (* 1935 ) is a former Uruguayan soccer player .

The left-back was already active in his youth for Club Atlético Cerro , where he was part of the team in 1953 in 3ª Especial . He played documentarily at least in the years 1960 and 1962 to 1963 with Cerro in the Uruguayan Primera División . There he was involved in the greatest success in the club's history when he became Uruguayan runner- up with the Albiceleste in 1960 . That season he made 18 league appearances. In mid-1963 he also took part in the club's international and largest tour in the club's history, which from May to July of that year led through Europe, the Soviet Union and Africa. During his career he also played for Liverpool Montevideo . He was part of the team that managed to rise again to the Primera División in 1966 under coach Eugenio Galvalissi .

National team

Soria was a member of the Uruguayan national soccer team and took part in the 1962 World Cup with her . However, he was not used during the tournament.
