Rudabeh in Shahname

In Schahname, Rudabeh is described in the following words:

“From head to foot as if made of ivory,
From growth like a plane tree 'in the grove;
Two eyes that shine like daffodils,
And eyelashes that ravens stole the blackness.
Do you see the moon, it is her face;
You smell muscle, it's your hair, don't help! "
