Rudi Bahr

Rudi Bahr (born September 11, 1920 in Stettin ; † April 16, 1999 ) was a German SPD politician .

Life

education and profession

Rudi Bahr attended secondary school and completed a business apprenticeship with the assistant examination. He became an industrial clerk. Bahr passed the first and second administrative exams. Most recently, he was active as a city councilor. According to the state legal status law, he had been retired since 1975.

politics

Rudi Bahr was a member of the SPD from 1957. He acted as local club chairman and deputy subdistrict chairman. He was a member of the Public Services, Transportation and Traffic Union and the Education and Science Union.

Rudi Bahr was a directly elected member of the 6th , 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 075 Duisburg IV from July 25, 1966 to May 28, 1980 .

Honors

On November 7, 1996, Bahr was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia .
