Rudo knight

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rudo Ritter (born November 27, 1889 in the German Empire , † after 1943) was a German screenwriter .

Live and act

Little is known about knights. It is possible that he was born in Würzburg, like his brother Karl Ritter , who was a year older than him . After his service in the First World War, Rudo Ritter did more than well as a composer in the Weimar Republic . Rudo also managed to enter the film business through brother Karl, who had risen to the role of UFA film producer as a result of the National Socialist seizure of power : he became a screenwriter. Initially used in short films, he soon wrote, beginning in April 1935 , April! , a production by newcomer Detlef Sierck , the manuscripts for a series of full-length entertainment films . These were folk plays, comedies, mountain dramas and music. Since the outbreak of the Second World War, Ritter only supplied productions that were no longer produced by UFA. After 1943 Rudo Ritter lost his track.
