Rudolf the Apostle

Rudolf Apostel (born June 17, 1932 in Essen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

After attending primary school, Apostel worked in mining from 1949 to 1983, most recently as a staff engineer.

Apostel, a member of the SPD since 1967, was a council member of the Rheinkamp community from 1969 , and after its incorporation from 1975 to 1989 council member of the city of Moers. From 1975 to 1983 he chaired the SPD parliamentary group there. From 1980 to 1995, Apostel was a member of the ninth , tenth and eleventh state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia . He moved into the state parliament through a direct mandate (constituency Wesel IV).
