Rudolf Johann Helmers
Rudolf Johann Helmers , first name also Johann Rudolf , last name also Helmer , was a publisher and heraldist active in Nuremberg and Frankfurt am Main at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th century .
Life
Rudolf Johann Helmers was the son-in-law of the Nuremberg art dealer Paul Fürst . The period 1697–1705 is known as the creative period in Nuremberg. Helmers became known by the fact that he further developed and developed famous works supervised by his father-in-law such as the Thesaurus philopoliticus by Daniel Meisner (“Sciographia cosmica” by Fürst) in 1700 under the name “Politica politica / Statistical Cities Book” and the Johann Siebmacher Wappen-Buch also reissued in 1700.
