Rudolf Nagl
Rudolf Nagl (born October 19, 1957 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament and from 1998 to 2016 mayor of Axams .
Life
Nagl attended elementary school in Axams between 1964 and 1969 and then graduated from the local secondary school from 1969 to 1973. From 1975 to 1982 he worked as a driver and between 1982 and 1985 as an assembly fitter. He then worked as a transport company from 1985 to 1998, and has also been a part-time farmer since 1985.
Nagl began his political career in local politics, serving as Vice Mayor of Axams between 1992 and 1995. He has been mayor there since 1998. He has also been Vice-President of the Tyrolean Community Association since 2009 and deputy ÖVP district party chairman in the Innsbruck-Land district since 2010. Since May 2013 he has represented the ÖVP in the Tyrolean state parliament.
