Rudolf Reisenbauer

Rudolf Reisenbauer (born February 25, 1901 in Linz , † July 27, 1963 in St. Oswald near Freistadt ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and employee of the Chamber of Commerce. From 1953 to 1962 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Reisenbauer attended elementary school in Linz and then graduated from high school in Linz. He studied in sequence at the University of Graz and received his doctorate in 1928 for Dr. rer. pole. He worked in his father's brick factory, found employment in the glass industry in various European countries such as England, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Holland and worked in foreign trade in Hamburg from 1934 to 1938 . After the Second World War, he was managing director of the Chamber of Commerce for Upper Austria (Industry Section) from 1945. Reisebauer represented the ÖVP from March 18, 1953 to December 14, 1962 in the National Council.
