Rudolf Schiffl

Rudolf Schiffl (born August 18, 1941 , † March 8, 2013 in Dachau ) was a German archer .

Schiffl took part in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montréal and reached rank 27. The greatest success was the double European championship in 1974, when he won in singles (with a European record) and with Franz Enderle and Werner Liebert . At the world championships in the following year he could not confirm this success with 30th place.

For winning the European Championship in Zagreb in 1974, he received the Silver Laurel Leaf from Federal President Scheel. Further evidence of the award of the silver bay leaf:
