Rudolph Facius

Leberecht Rudolph Facius (born August 12, 1861 in Lugau ; † March 29, 1921 there ) was a German entrepreneur and conservative politician .

Life and work

Together with his younger brother Johannes (1865–1932), he took over the worsted yarn spinning company Rudolf Facius & Sons in Lugau , founded in 1893 by their father, in 1878 the merchant and factory owner Johann Rudolph Facius (1832–1886) . From 1901 to 1909 he represented the 36th rural constituency in the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament, of which he was a member until 1897. After the death of Rudolph Facius, worsted yarn spinning was continued by heirs as a limited partnership .
