Ruggero Oddi
Ruggero Ferdinando Antonio Vincenzo Oddi (born July 20, 1864 in Perugia , † March 22, 1913 in Tunis ) was an Italian anatomist . The comprehensive comparative anatomical and functional description of the sphincter muscle at the joint opening of the biliary and pancreatic ducts at the papilla duodeni major (Father's papilla) goes back to him ("Musculus sphincter Oddii").
