The Runddysse of Smidstrup is located in the hamlet of Smidstrup, southwest of Kirke Hvalsø on the Danish island of Zealand . The dolmen is located south of the Elverdam River, near the border of Holbæk Municipality .

The chamber of the polygonal hollow is located in a 1.2 m high, irregular round hill with a diameter of about 9.0 m and is hexagonal with five supporting stones and a 1.7 m high capstone. The chamber measures approximately 1.5 x 1.4 m. The hill, which is heavily overgrown on the south side, has no visible curbs. Maybe two stones in the southwest are shifted gang stones. The megalithic complex of Kirke-Hvalsø and the passage grave of Nørre Hvalsø are nearby .
