Runestone from Sövestad
The runestone from Sövestad (DR 291; Sövestadstenen 2 ) is a rune stone from Krageholm near Sövestad in the province of Skåne in Sweden from the Viking Age, around 960/1050. The granite stone is about 1.5 meters high and bears a runic inscription in a serpentine ribbon shape of the type Fp.
The runestone was found in a grave near Krageholm Castle in 1757. A picture stone ( Sövestadstenen 1 ) and possibly another rune stone had also been found on the grounds of the castle .

- Tonna set this stone in memory of Bramr, her husband, and also her son Ásgautr (did this). He was the best statesman and the mildest giver of (food) gifts
